Energy Bills – Ways To Save On Electric Bills

Energy Bills – We all hate them. We found ways to save on electric bills this summer by not using the air conditioning at all.

This might be uncomfortable for some or most, but why do we really need to live in all that luxury? We think that some people don’t even have a roof over their heads or food. Orphan children around the world do not have anything! Then why do we get to enjoy so much of our own luxuries just because we worked hard for it?

Instead when it got too hot we would all sleep downstairs with the ceiling fan running slowly and the windows open, sleeping on an air mattress. Even some days we had a tent out in the backyard and camped out. This was fun and adventurous for the kids.

The point is we were sick and tired of paying our hard earned money to the utilities while they just reap in all the profits, so why not save on electric bills? Our luxuries aren’t necessary. As well we try and use electricity during the lowest peak hours if your utility has time of usage monitoring.

As well even though natural gas is rather inexpensive, we are going to keep the thermostat at 18C or 65F this winter. We will just keep warmer by dressing more.

Remembering to keep the lights off when not in use is also a good way to save on electric bills.

We used the extra money saved to help pay off debt, give to the needy orphans that need it more than us and invest in income producing assets.

This helps build wealth.
